threads like this only generate a bunch of post that say, "when i was 1x, i was glad to get a 278-year old junker with 5 bazillion miles on it."

this is so pathetic. ///M_owns_you, you're one lucky son of a bitch to have rich parents like that. you being spoiled is obviously their fault so just enjoy their wealth while it lasts.

I don't really know why you guys are so upset about this thread. He was just posting that he was bummed his parents cancelled their M5 order(wouldn't you be a bit bummed too if your parents were going to get an M5 but cancelled it when you were his age?). Maybe the part about what mods he would do pissed you guys off? I don't really see any problem with dreaming about doing mods, it happens all the time at e90post but I don't see harsh reactions like this. No doubt ///M owns you has made threads that should be criticized, but I don't think this is one of them.

I think a lot of you guys have just become biased against him because of his previous posts and therefor need to automatically find fault in all of his future posts. If he posted about taking a walk in a nice park someone would probably respond "Oh when I was a kid I took walks through the ghetto you spoiled little POS".

Finally someone who uses their mind before opening their mouth. Thank you man for helping me clarify what i was trying to convey. I almost want to go post a thread about myself walking through a nice park and watch the posts after posts of shit talking remarks against me. Its rediculous

Oh, don't give me that shit.

When I was a kid, I had to hike 15 miles each way to a child-labor camp making Nikes for rich bastards who could afford shoes.

Over a volcano.

Both ways.

With my feet chained together.

With razor wire.

Rusty razor wire!

+1 I really have to agree with this.

No one is forcing you to open his threads, but you still do. And everyone keeps saying his parents this, his parents that. I believe he mentioned his father passed away at a young age. There's a lot to be said about that. I've had friends who are adopted and have lost parents themselves. Happening that early can have an adverse affect. I have no clue, but //M may be an only child.

I don't think //M means any harm by any of his posts. He just gets excited and over does it sometimes.

I'm an only child so I can vouch about getting more than others. My parents have done things for me in the past b/c that's what makes them happy. My dad told me it brought him the greatest joy to see me spend my last year of high school in the truck he bought me. He said he wanted me to have something he couldn't at my age. He's told me how much he enjoyed seeing me drive off in the truck everyday, and everytime I would back out of the driveway back to college.

So some parents don't intentionally spoil their kids. It's more in whether the parents raise their kids knowing the value of a dollar and show respect to everyone.

I don't know if that makes since, I'm tired, and rambling.

You guys should really lighten up on ///M. Who wouldn't be upset if their parents canceled an order for an M5. He is 19 and still growing up. You are blaming his parents for having money and loving him enough to buy him a nice car. Many young adults wreck cars at his age why do you think their insurance is so high. I my self wrecked my fathers Hyundai going to race my friend in his mothers Ford Taurus. Neither one of us were rich but indeed still did something very stupid. Wrecking a car at a young age has nothing to do with how spoiled you are and thats a fact. If he talks about spending money like water hey that's what he is use to, maybe his parents have it like that. Many spoiled and wealthy children grow up to be successful independent wealthy adults. Do you think they all drive a ford escorts, or never did anything stupid. Really if you a earned a million dollars a year would you turn around and buy your child a 99 sentra? Material things don't make the person, also what people consider expensive is all relative. Believe me I will hear it from my coworkers once my car arrives in a week, but does that mean I can go and make Tom Cruise jealous? I think not.

The bottom line is if you feel he is immature, just accept, ignore his post and go to the next one, why get so upset then bash him for your amusement. Also why call him immature then make immature comments your self. Nobody's perfect people including yourself.

I did, not say the M5 was yours. I said it was theirs and by not getting it and not letting you drive it, evolution will allow you to live a few more years. That is until your undeserved 335 gets back from the shop. I'm sure you'll find an exciting way to break it, again.

I was thinking the same thing. Last I heard, you still need to graduate undergrad before going to business school. Maybe he's a genius, already graduated college, and now working on his MBA? I don't know, it's hard to glean from his posts. Either way, these threads are very entertaining.

Dare I say, these are giving bmwexecutive's posts a run for their money.... Time will tell. Until then,

You know, I thought that earlier. I think we may have another person that doesn't fully live in the real world.

I hope to never raise a kid like some people on this board.

This is why your parents cancel the order. You are lucky they are not taking away your E92.

I'll get an M5 one day but its for sure not going to be bought with the help of my parents thats for sure. Though sometimes i do wonder what i'd be driving if i had gotten into an ultra top notch school like harvard or something......then maybe an M5 or a who knows what.

Are you guys retarded or something? Or dont know how to read? Did you not CLEARLY SEE THE PART THAT SAID IT WOULDNT HAVE BEEN MINE?!?! Haha i really stopped getting so angry at these forums and posts and whatever a while ago and after i got warned by an admin. I just kinda laugh and say whatever haha fuck it. Either they dont get it or are jelous or hate me but whatever. I have my people here in CA that im cool with, a lot of them on this forum, and thats all that matters to me. Usually 98% of the hateful remarks towards me are from people out of state anyways. I dont know maybe life outside of CA is different or something.

However all of your remarks about my failure in life....well those are rediculous. Considering the fact that im working towards an MBA at USC right now. Hmm whatelse....that i pull my wieght around the house and with the family. I post one thread about how MY PARENTS ( AS IN THEIR CAR, NOT MINE) cancelled THEIR order of an M5 and there all you "grown ups" go again...criticizing, hating, being rude, being jelous, being alot of negative things basically.

But like i said i dont take these things personal anymore. I used to take time to chew out everyone who talked shit on me in the forum but now.....well now i just dont care haha because i dont know you guys, will never know you, nor do i want to know you... and at the end of the day this is just a forum. And all of you are right i have alot to learn about life, theres no doubt about that, i mean come on im only 19. No 19 year old has obtained the knowledge he needs to be in a position to claim he knows it all. I mean you guys can see me learning things about life as we speak. Look at what happened just a few days ago, i got in that accident. Well that was a wake up call, that was a lesson.

However, its pretty lame that someone cant post a simple thread about his parents cancelling an order on a car without a bunch of "grumpy old men" jumping at the opportunity to start running their mouths. Im not going to respond negatively to any of your threads because its no use, not going to change anything.

You guys want to hear me say that i sold me 335, moved out and ride a bike, live in a trash can and am trying to build myself up to living in a house one day....and whatever. Well thats not going to happen, im pushing myself in school to be able to live like how i do now but to do so on my own. And until then, if i've been blessed with the means to get there a little more comfortably then others then so be it. What am i supposed to do if i've been a good young adult whos doing well and my parents have the means to buy a decent car for me becuase i some what deserve it. Why should i drive a POS? What would that do? Make me "feel" for others? Or respect others who arent in the same position? No, i alreaady have respect for others and NEVER EVER look down on or base my decisions on people with more or less money. To some people a 335 is the equivalent of an entry level car for a young person. I know people my age, matter of fact i know 4 to be exact, that are driving porsches and cls's and sl55's. Are they brash or arogant? No. They're normal, life appreciating, hard working, smart, kind, and cool kids.

So basically, i dont care about your criticism. I dont know you or hold your opinions in relation to myself or up-bringing into consideration what so ever. I do pay attention to your opinions about cars though because after all this is a car forum.
Dude, I read all of the comments and I have to agree with you. I am 29, and I don't hate you for owning that car. All you did was make a young and stupid mistake and got in an accident, just like almost all of us on this forum have done when we were young, what you were driving doesn't change that. Those of thus who never were in a bad accident, didn't avoid it because we were better or more responsible, just because we were LUCKIER---rich or poor, we all made stupid mistakes when we were young. As long as you never forget to work hard for things in life and remember that is how your parent's got there, you will be fine--don't ever take for granted what you have, and people will respect you. But no, YOU DON'T HAVE TO APOLOGISE FOR GETTING TO SUCCESS in a more comfortable setting, thats like making someone apologise for the fact their parents make a lot of money, and that is stupid.

Sorry to hear about the M5, my dad owns a 7, and I WISH he would get an M5, because I don't care if I am 29, 35, or 50----I will always wish my dad gets an M5 because right now I can't afford one and he can, and if he does, I'll beg him every day for the keys. I can't afford one and I'm not too proud to ask my dad to drive his, just like one day I hope my kids aren't too proud to ask to drive my nice car. Just like I let a friends brother drive my 335i coupe, cause he can't afford one and he loves cars, and I remember when I was him.

Good luck at USC, drive safe, learn from your mistakes and have a few cold ones for me. Say high to those beautiful women roaming your campus
