Transmission replacement per BMW.
JUST WANT TO SHARE TO EVERYONE.
For those who had problem with gind 1st and 2nd gear Here is what i got from the dealer... BTW this is when i had the car 10-15k miles on it.

Sean, thanks for posting this. Btw, I just had my tech check the SIB and the correct number is 23 01 09 in case anyone has the same issue.

My transmission was replaced with new after 20k km due to what was deemed as excessive chatter in neutral. The chatter is normal in the M3 manual gearbox but BMW Australia thought it was too much for passenger comfort. New gearbox straight from Germany inside a week and changed. Also they changed the transmission oil after 2k km run-in. When it comes to warranty issues todate I haven't had any problems with BMW Australia. I have been lucky.
