Thirdly, there aren't any real drag racing tracks over here in Germany. And on the few that do drag race... they are normal road racing tracks with one day a year set aside to drag. So the traction is really not there for a take off at a dig.

Yep, you're right, this track is in Russia, not so far from Moscow. This is the part of the testing poligon as I remember. And the race is really for 1km.

We do not offer a 720hp kit, this russian car has a regular ESS VT2-625 kit -nothing more, nothing less. No idea why they claim 720chp. I am actually very impressed he was able to beat a S85 Z4M as those are extremely quick.

i agree theres no proof this car was actually makin 720hp. that would be impressive but a 720hp car would have a much better 1/4 time with a good driver and sufficent track conditions and tires

its more easy to compare when cars from whole world just meet each other. In summer 2010 Russian team came to gtboard, in Sweden . Here is one of videos, at the end of it, there is count of wins of russians and gtboard/m5board members.
And russian team came only with 6 or 7 cars (not best), and Gustav at his home, ofcourse, brought best of the best cars they had.

if someone doubts some counts or results, you are always invited to the moscow unlim event, to watch all the stuff and try yourself. (ofcourse, if you have more than 500hp car )

Also, in July we go to Sweden and standing mile event in Berlin, so everybody will be able to compare the results

It is not 720hp, this car was installed at our Norwegian installation center and it is a normal VT2-625 kit. Supercharged Z06's are no joke though..

I'm really disappointed with those ET's and trap speeds. I expected a lot more if they are really making that much power. I suspect they are both stock though. My 135i does better ET's and traps faster with half the power.

Wow that V10 is incredible. Every time I hear it, I'm just blown away. One day people will say, "remember when BMW used to make NA engines?"

Also wrt to crappy times... are we seeing altitude effect perhaps? I don't know where this is filmed but it looks relatively alpine.

The ZO6 kills it in the top end because it weighs a lot less.
