16 inch rims too small?
Hey guys I have the opp to buy some lightweight 16s cheap for track/drag use. Is this too small? What are the consequences? I know people run 17s but any thoughts on 16s would be great. Cheers.

In addition to the brake clearance issue, you'd also have to either choose tires with very thick sidewalls, with the handling consequences that entails, or lose an inch or more of ride height, which could being problems of its own even on a track. I've never even seen 17s on an E9x M3 personally.

The arc8 17s fit the E92 perfectly. The only thing I regret of the pfc bbk is that it doesn,t clear the 17 wheels
Tires are significantly cheaper and you get a 'free' car drop. What's not to like? |

You might have a hard time finding the right wheels in the size and offset.
