Yup, the weather was definitely affecting the S65. I went on Dragtimes and used their DA Calculator and it came out to be 2189 ft above sea level. It also gave a corrected ET and MPH:
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
12.663 @ 110.981 MPH

Here's the slip for sh1ts and giggles:

What launch RPM best worked with Launch control at the track?

It depends on the track surface. I used the default setting of 5500rpm, probably should have set it to 5000 rpm for this particular track but I enjoyed the wheel spin too much.

As far as the M3 not being able to handle the 1320, tell that to Lee Rutter who ran mid 12's in his basically stop E46M3 with countless runs down the track. I have seen 99+ Mustang SVT's snap alxe shafts. The issue is the IRS.

You whittle that 60ft. down and you are a low 12 sec. car.

Yeah I would think 5500 would be to high. I'm sure it was fun though.

The M will go very high 11's with some DR's and full exhaust (no cats) and a good tune/reflash. I am waiting for some software to come out so I can tune the car myself, there no way ill pay retail for a freaking ecu reflash.... No way!
