When should I go in for an oil change?

Ok, so i know that you are supposed to go in for service when your computer tells you to...call me old school but i don't trust it

So far my car has had the 1200 mile oil change,

A low mileage annual oil change at 10k miles on 6/24/11

A standard oil change at 15k miles on 4/23/12

So my question is can i go in on 4/23/13 to get my annual low mileage oil change? Or do i need to wait until i hit 30k miles?

I am current at 25k miles. Thanks

You should be eligible for a low mileage oil change in April, one year from your previous oil change...

Correct 1 year. It's in the manual. I suggest you tell the dealer it is in there, as they probably won't tell you.

cool, I know sometimes the dealers need a little "nudging" when you ask them what they are SUPPOSED to do in the first place lol

If your dealer needs nudging, you need find a new dealer. They get reimbursed for the annual oil change just like any other "free" maintenance service, and there should be no reason for nudging.

You can actually get a low mileage oil change 30 days before the year is up. You have to ask for it of course, because they won't call you about low mileage changes.

It helps when your tech is into tracking and is the onsite tech at some events.

Best tech at my otherwise not so great dealership. Actually my ca is pretty cool and i got lucky but overall rating by customers are low. Got to go upstairs into the garage where all the work is done before and there were two m3's he was working on. They were pretty nicely modded but one was a vert. So he worked a coupe a vert and a sedan on the same day.

If you can find the right guy he can help you quite a bit. Find someone in cca?
