on the second screen, put in the last 7 of your VIN or your production number It might say you have a 2004 X5 or something like that until it hits the production floor, and even then it might take a couple of days for the options to show up correctly.

i have a similar question. when i go to make my account and put in my production number it is saying it is an interlagos blue coupe when i ordered a jet black coupe. I told my dealer and he said he checked it through dealer speed and it is coming up jet black, he even faxed me what showed up on his screen so i guess its ok. but should i still make my account even though its coming up blue.

If your car hasn't started production yet then the color would not match up until it hits the body shop most likely.

Use the BMWNA number if you are in the US, it is 1-800-831-1117. Has more accurate information than the website which intermittently changes options even after the production is finished, colors come on 3-5 days after production starts etc.

Depends on which coast, west is longer, also depends on how many stops along the way. The Elektra makes stops at Southhampton, Halifax and then NY. Could be faster if gets directly to NY.

is there any way to see the production status on the website. i mean that 3 digit number like 112 or 118 that number that tells exactly what step of the process the car is in b4 it gets to me and how do i find what ship it is on if it say en route? does that even mean it made it on a ship yet or its just scheduled to be picked up??
