April M3 Pricing

Anyone have a sneak peak on pricing and incentives for 2009 M3 e90 in April? Will the 2.9% financing continue?

Is it true that BMW will only allow you to lock in the 2.9% for 60 days? I am thinking about Euro Delivery in July.

Yeah .. but they are not flying off the assembly line either. My guess is that they've already adjusted M3 production "drastically" in 09 .. given that are still '08s on the lot. Furthermore, dealerships don't seem to be stocking '09s after the hit they have taken on the '08s. I think 2.9% is a good balance and should be around for a while ... even AFTER the economy picks up (people aren't necessarily going to become rich or change their spending ways anytime soon). The //M isn't supposed to be a super mass-produced model anyway so I think they can adjust it more easily than the 3/5 series lines.

is this deal still for "returning" customers? i had a problem trying to work out this rate with my dealer - he said it was only for returning BMWFS customers. (which is absurd since i leased and them bought through bmwfs my 323 and was a customer from 1999 - 2008).

I was told the best rate i could get was 7.25 which is "Standard"

7.25% is probably for CPO or 2008 leftover M3.

You can get 3.99% for auto loans at www.penfed.org

2009 M3s you should be able to get the 2.9%

He's completely right! I learned about www.penfed.org here on m3post, and that's who I financed my M3 through last month. I got the 3.99% financing, and I was approved literally in minutes online. It was so easy it was almost un-nerving! I joined on a Tuesday morning, was approved in minutes, and had a check in my hands on Wednesday!

You've to be from one of the military branches to join penfed right? Or is there another way to join for civilians?

Yes. Am doing both. Hey, the TARP/TALF funds have to assist us feed our needs, right?

I'm confused. I walked into my local BMW dealer and ordered/bought an 09 with 2.9% financing. No issues. Smooth as silk. I was not a returning customer. Why would you get 3.99% if the dealer has 2.9%? Is it credit score related?

For leftover 2008s there are no special financing. So thats why they are talking about 3.99% from a credit union.

09s are still eligible for BMWs 2.9% program.

nope they told me only if i was returning - he went and asked his manager and then even showed me the sheet - on a 2009. this was all while i was arguing with him about how it would cost me the same per month to buy a used demo @ 7.25% vs a discounted 09
