$100,500 for a frozen 2013 "new" M3?

I thought this was so ridiculous I had to post...
Who's willing to pay $100k for a 2011 model M3... I guess they're trying to take advantage of all the rich people in the Bay.

no surprise from SF BMW. They apparently once complained about the vendors on bimmerpost who were selling M3s at a reasonable price, hahaha. What a joke, $100k...meh. Give me two used M3s instead, one with luxo options, and one barebones for the track...but you know some loaded individual will simply walk in there one day and buy that car cash...such is the life of the new tech billionaire.

A brand-new zero miles desirable vehicle (in an exclusive color, no less) which is out of production will definitely fetch a premium. These cars have an MSRP of around $80K, so given the rarity I don't think the dealership is out of line.

I forgot his screen name but he way overpaid for a Lime Rock M3 and then came on here saying (multiple times) that it would skyrocket in value. I remember him saying it would be worth $200K very soon. We badgered him to the point where he just left.

The SF dealership is just demonstrating price elasticity.

Nice! Even a mint E30 wouldn't sell for that.

I love BMW as much as the next guy but these are modern cars not collectors cars. There are plenty of E9x M3s.

Doesn't matter what they sell for. What matters is it's plain wrong and robbery. I don't care if it sells for $100k, but I would state as a fact that the person who purchased the car is a moron and gives proof to the saying "a sucker is born every minute".
