Well I've decided to go a different route on building my 85k mile E90 M3 so won't be needing my back up spare long block any longer. I have a 2013 complete long block with only 8,853 miles on it. It was pulled from a totalled E93 hit in the rear with top down a few years ago. I snagged it up as low mileage S65's are getting harder to come by these days. It's been stored in a climate controlled shop with all ports and holes sealed up.

So it's a beautiful (valve covers still look like new ones

) S65 with super low miles ready to roll. I put BE bearings and BE bolts in it myself (BMW Master Technician with 20 years experience) in preparation to toss it into my E90 when that OH SH!T day came. Also got new oil pan gasket, oil pump pickup O-rings etc. Everything looked perfect on the inside while doing the bearings, even the oil looked new. As you can see from the pics it looks shiny and new inside and out. Comes with OEM BMW engine crate and the proper S65 wooden support in the bottom.

I'd just like to get back what I have in it, with bearings/bolts and all I need $9400 for it. Will be easy to ship as I can ship it commercially from the shop here and being crated will keep it safe.

I may be kicking myself for not just swapping it into my own 85K mile E90 M3 down the road but I have some bigger plans for that car coming soon. Good news is I've been sure to take very good care of this engine since the original plan was to run it in my car.

I’ve finally got some internet access on my way home from vacation last week. I will reply to everyone’s PM’s either this evening or early tomorrow morning depending on what time I get back. Thanks everyone for the interest hopefully we can work a deal to get this jewel of a long block into an E9X M3 that needs it to stay on the road!!
