Can I ask where you got the CPM plate across the xpipe from? I assume it's suppose to add a bit of rigidity?

In Hong Kong, emissions are done 7 years after the car's purchase year. Since my car is MY2011 it would be 2018 before I need to do emissions. I'm clueless about emissions regulations in California.

For the CPM Brace, it was a local group buy with another BMW forum so I am not sure where the group buy creator sourced it.

I've seen it on Yahoo Auction Japan (CPM is made in Japan), but I don't know if they can ship worldwide.

If you go on http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ , the top of the website has a bar that says "Overseas customers Click here to buy from Overseas"

You could give this a go.

Perfect timing!

I've had the M3 World AU Catless X-Pipe removed last week because I didn't like the smell and that I didn't want my 10 month old son to have to smell that as well. I'm getting the driveshaft removed tomorrow/Friday. I just don't like that when I am accelerating above 120km/hr that it increases in the harmonic vibration. The car will go completely straight so it's not like that the car has a bad alignment or a vibration from an unbalanced wheel, but the floor will shake and the glass will vibrate once I am past around 150km/hr.

well that sucks. i'm hoping the driveshaft isn't the issue, because i was really happy when this product comes out. please report the new difference now that you removed the shaft.

Our stock driveshaft has a guibo to quiet things down, and so does the CF driveshaft on the F8x. With the Powerflex Purple Diff Bushings the one piece CF Driveshaft was unbearably loud. With the stock diff bushings it was fine, but I still don't like it. It's like that some people can tolerate exhaust drone and some cannot, it's quite a subjective matter. With that said, my mechanic did say that for sure any Driveshaft without the guibo will cause vibrations as speed builds (whereas gearbox/diff whine is by rpm). He was right.

Aren't those supposed to be 2 x 200 cpsi which should have helped to reduce the smell? Had Akrapovic xpipe with 2 x 100 cpsi and they really did smell bad so I went back to stock pipe

Yes there are 2x200cpsi but it's always hot and humid here in Hong Kong. There's rarely a breeze and with the way that most of our parking lots are underground with minimal ventilation to comply with fire regulations, it's just too much to handle.

It's identical to the LHD one because I didn't want my vent to be covered. I could choose whether to have the screen on the left or right vent.

You interested? It's for 6MT. I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship it.

It's currently sitting at the shop that installed/uninstalled it for me.
