It's funny how so many people cry wolf when the team they want to win ends up losing. It is like human nature for people to just blame someone or something when things don't go their way. Like I said before, I don't see how the NBA rigged the playoffs. There were no rigging in the Pacer vs Heat series and the NBA did not rig last year playoffs (OKC vs Heat). The better team just won. Period.

I don't remember anyone blaming the refs when the Mavs beat the Heat and I don't see anyone blaming the refs when the Heat is losing against the Spurs. Because the whole world except for Miami fans hate the Heat.

BTW, if the NBA really wanted to maximize their money. They would make every series go at least 6 or 7 game. Why would there even be sweeps? Do you know how much money they lose when a team gets swept?

nba gets paid by the tv stations no matter the number of games. the tv stations are the ones that lose out if there's a sweep

and then there are the side bets, which at least one ref has been a part of. though if i was to fix a game i'd pay off the players.

Then how the hell would it benefit the NBA if they rig a series?

You just said it doesn't matter how many games a series is. The NBA still gets paid by the TV station.

Then why would the NBA shoot themselves in the foot by shortening a NBA finals if they want better ratings. ie. last year NBA finals 4-1. That doesn't help with publicity by shortening a series.

it doesn't happen every time with every series. but it exists. if entire continents can fix interest rates, you can bet ur ass u can fix sports games.

one possible scenario where a short series helps the nba: if the nba places a huge hedge at lloyd's in case the playoffs aren't long enough (bad for publicity and future ratings)

someone made a lot of money after 9/11

The Heat are so frustrating to watch lol

The Heat had at least 3 lay ups that should've gone in without a doubt, and Lebron and Chalmers played like crap offensively. Combined they were 10/32...that's just sh!t for the finals.

Yes, the Spurs had a good game. Green and Ginobli stepped it up, Parker and Duncan did their expected game play.

I feel bad for the guy. I still believe he's a jinx, and that's why the Heat & Allen won't get a ring.

I have a feeling the Heat is done.

But then, that is what I thought during the Boston vs Laker series when Boston was up 3-2 against the Lakers and the Lakers had 2 home games and ended up beating Boston in 7

If the Spurs do win the championship, I really hope Danny Green gets MVP.. it doesn't make sense for anyone else on the Spurs to get it...

i kind of have the same feeling too, but at the same time, i know the heat wont lay down and if they go down they go down in game 7 which if it happens will be a well fought game.

As much as I want the Heat to win, I think we need some extra chickens sacrificed on the side on the roads by the Cuban Santeros for them to win the series the way they have been playing.

I agree with Danny Green being the MVP, Heat has found no answer for him.

GM #1 prediction - SPURS (win)
GM #2 prediction - HEAT (win)
GM #3 prediction - SPURS (win)
GM #4 prediction - SPURS (loss)
GM #5 prediction - SPURS (win)
GM #6 prediction - HEAT
GM #7 prediction - SPURS

Let's go SPURS but have to be realistic, I am confident Heat will take Game 6...and hey if not, shit...I'm wrong but more importantly Spurs take the trophy home.
