Jerez Black Poll VIEWED IN PERSON votes only
Okay, so I ordered Jerez Black in order to have an "M" color even though my old 3 series was Jet Black and I loved it. So after reading all the differing opinions, I would really like to know, if you have seen Jerez in the flesh, what did you really think of it? To be fair I think it would be best only if you vote based on your desire to have a dark color, this is not a JB vs. SSII etc poll.

i saw it in person at Irvine BMW (SoCal) on a sedan. That color is just SICK! it plays with ur mind, you see dark blue one time, a second later it's black and you cant find the dark blue spots anymore. it's an insane color!
If i'd go to a dark/black car again i'd get it for sure. it's just amazing. you will love it |

I saw it today and really liked it. My car is JB and is on its way. I actually like the deep blue hue. That's a matter of personal preference. If you want a pure black car, go for jet black obviously. If you haven't seen it already, I'm sure you can find one in TX that you can check out.

In the showroom I saw it, it looked very black. VERY black. You couldn't tell it from Jet Black with a casual look. I had to look hard to see the metallic flake and any blue. In the sunlight it would probably be more dazzling.
But a good alternative to Jet Black, if you like dark cars.

saw it at McKenna - really disappointed in the lack of metallic. didnt look metallic at all - just looked like extremely dark navy blue.
its not for me. carbon black and cosmos black (had that on my e36/4 M3) were much better IMO

I have a Jerez Black one and the colour is amazing when clean and waxed, but I am not feeling it when it is raining, not sure how to explain it but it gets "dull". I'm not regretting the colour, I just it wish it would rain less...
Have any other Jerez owners noticed this?

Also, this might be alittle OT but I've seen most of the colors in person now. My top 2 are Space Grey and Sparkling Graphite. In that order.

I dont think Jerez is that impressive but compared to jet black, I think it would be better because jet isnt metallic. But Jerez has quite a lot of blue in it. If you want a thick black, get Jet Black.

I think its a pretty amazing color. I didn't believe it could have enough blue in it to make me like it - then I saw it in person, finally. If you like the black look, then you should love Jerez. I love Blue (but hate Interlogos) and I love the Jerez - there is a TON of Blue in it. I would never buy a black car, but I'd buy the Jerez Black, for sure. However, I don't like how it mutes the beauty of the lines of the car. There is very little metallic flake - that was a bit disappointing. At the end of the day, it would be my second choice to AW, no question.

I viewed it in person today. I'm sure it's nice for those that like black cars, but it's not for me. None of the poll answers fit my opinion.
I'm glad not everyone likes the same colors. That would be boring.

I saw it in a sedan--Jerez with black interior. Fully loaded. Looks awesome. Drove the car last Saturday and it is unbelievable. I was going to order a coupe but after seeing and driving the sedan I may get this instead. Jerez has a dark blue look to it in certain light. I think it probably looks best with a light interior like grey. For the pure black-and-black look jet black may work best. Overall impressed with the color (and the car).

Thanks for all the input. I am really living on the edge, ordered DCT even though I'm an MT man, and ordered JzB even though I loved my JB sedan...I will do a write up after I take delivery in a couple weeks
