Acm exhaust mod

Just wanted to give a shot out to the fellas at Acm. Went there Tuesday for the exhaust mod and couldn't be happier. At first I thought it was a little mellow but it has really grown on me. Blipping the throttle when downshifting sounds awesome:. They had me in and out of there within an hour as they said. If your in or around Jersey and debating what exhaust to get, try this you'll be happy. My next move will most likely be their test pipes. Thanks again Acm!

Glad you are enjoying it!

I have ACM test pipes and love them. However, I am stock exhaust (the rest of the way). Be careful with test pipes and OEM mod, you will get RASP!!! If you like it, then go for it (the power is nice!)

^ No! Thank you guys. Pm when those test pipes come in please. Still haven't decided but will let you know either way (little concerned with noise level). Since I'm local, if you guys have a car down there that has the oem exhaust mod paired with the x-pipe. Give me a ring if possible so i can check it out. That will most likely determine what i wanna do. Thanks!

I agree with everything you said, BUT just be aware if you get test pipes with the ACM exhaust mod the sound gets LOUD. IMO the OEM mod by itself is the best bang for your buck mod there is and it sounds awesome!!!! The difference between most shops and ACM is that they will work with you. I got test pipes months after the OEM mod and did not want to combine them as I knew it would be too loud. They cut me a deal on taking back the OEM mod exhaust and putting the stock mufflers back on. I'm not crazy about that combo, so I'm probably gonna do a Megan muffler.

I drive an hour and a half and pay $40 in tolls to get work done there.

I had the full ACM exhaust for about 1 month. It's freaken loud man. I ended up replacing it (still sitting in my garage though) with a Borla S-type. Now the tone is perfect, but a little too quiet. I got used to that loud exhaust.

Just can never seem to get it right!
