Saw this on C&D's 2012 top 10. (highest collision claims) Seems to line up with the forums experience for sure.

Ya, I was just gonna post that too! (or the personal injury one) It definitely shows that size does matter!

But perhaps better design does help... i.e. don't see Smart or Volvo C30 on that list which are both small too.

The collision claim graphic doesn't surprise me too much. I'm willing to bet a lot of these cars are bought by people who don't respect the kind of power they put out (or haven't been taught the necessary car control skills). All of the cars listed make 400HP+ if i'm not mistaken (minus the Evo of course).

Right, what surprised me tho was the good rates many of us enjoy based on that data! So claim rate must be low although the pay out is high.

Or when the cars wreck, they get seriously wrecked. (it reminds of that thread a while back where the kid launch controlled his Granturismo over a curb and totally shredded the underside of his car).
