Searching for a used M3. Few questions

Hello everyone, 1st post on this site. In the market for an E93 M3. I've always wanted an M3 and now have the means to get one. I could buy a brand new one but would rather find a low mileage '09-'10 to save the initial depreciation. I know that in '09 they did the LCI change, which added the LED tail lights and the new iDrive (so I am ruling out '08s in my search because i want the upgraded NAV), but since then what have they added besides the BMW Apps and the auto high beams? To me it just seems like BMW has just re-arranged the packages. I just want to make sure there is not some stand out feature that I can't live without if I buy a preowned M3 rather than a brand new one. I pretty much want it loaded out but can live with out Facebook in my car and the high beams changing themselves.

The E93 M3 LCI changes were done in MY2011 (production 03/10). The BMW Apps feature was introduced on 03/11.

There are more changes -nothing radical but changes nonetheless- than just the rearranging of the packages. It all depends on what it is important to you.

I may suggest a little more searching from your part so you can have all the information needed before making your decision.

Is there a good thread or site you could point me to with info on the changes to the E93 in particular? I was assuming that the iDrive was part of an LCI. Sorry to seem noobish on my part. That's what I get for trusting wikipedia.

iDrive was changed in 09/08 (MY2009). The Bluetooth/USB modules were changed in 09/10 (commonly known as MY2011.5).

Ordering guides are available in here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=76 ... that can tell you the changes for both standard and optional equipment/packages throughout the model years.
