June M3 Convertible Production Roll Call! Who Has a June Build Week?

I'm supposed to be week 25 (week of 16 June). Hoping it doesn't change (at least not for the worse).

Any other convertible orders being built in June? Sound off!!

You do realize that if you waited 2-3 more months for delivery, you could get a MY 2009, correct?

Knew full well when I placed my order that I'd be buying a limited production 2008 E93 M3, and that the 2009's would start production in September. Don't care though. Not buying the car for the resale value. I'm buying the car because I want the car and plan on enjoying it for years to come.

Besides, at the end of 2008 I'll have a car that appears to be a year old with VERY low mileage

My delivery has come early. I pick up my new E93 M3 Cab on Monday now! Trying to build a list of delivery considerations I must check with the car/dealer. Any ideas gents?

Mine just got finished building last week and is ... checking ...

Yup, still waiting for a boat. So hopefully it'll be sometime in late June/early July when it arrives. I ordered it in the begging of February so the anticipation is now building to ridiculous levels.

Exciting news Berb! Let us know as soon as you can about how the car feels & looks.

I confirmed with my dealer today that I'm still scheduled for week 24 production. My dealer had a Jerez/paladium 6MT on the showroom floor with the top down (sounds like same configuration pretty much all dealers received). Looked really sweet - also had the 19" wheels.

I was told there is still some chance mine will go into production a little early - would be great to have it for the long 4th of July weekend!!

I was advised today that my E93 w/M-DCT has been 'issued to production', whatever that means. It had been anticipated for week 23 build, so I guess this now confirms it. A question for those who know how these things work: When should I be getting a VIN number?

Thanks.

I supposedly had a week 24(June 9) build date according to my CA but when I call the 1800 number they are worthless and can't confirm that or give any infomration about build week. I hope I am not being hosed as I have had a deposit down over 1 year and have had to wait for BMW to get their DCT production ramped up. Are any of your production number for those that have been issued to production showing the correct vehicle on owners circle or are they still showing 530i's?

The wait is killing me!

Great news! Further to my posting earlier, I now have a VIN, am confirmed as status '150' and, I'm told, my E93 M-DCT is scheduled for a June 7 completion date. For those with experience in these things, how long should it take from this time until it arrives at the US port (NJ)?

Good for you man! You got my hopes up that I'd been moved forward as well. Just called the 1-800 number and they've confirmed that I'm still slated for week 25 production (16 June). No week 24 for me. Bummer.

This site helps me pass the time though. I'm learning a lot about the car and the ordering process.

Tracking available

My car (week 23) is now trackable online. Under the tracking portion at the bottom it lists off the cars color choices and options that i chose, everything is right and im hoping this is just since its also not on the byo feature on the website but my car says nothing about having dct as an option.

I know this is a stupid question -- and I really have tried to search the forum for the answer -- but on which website do I find order status info online? I've got an account set up on BMWUSA.com (but it won't let me enter the vin of my ordered car, even though I have it; it says that the number doesn't exist). Sorry for the rudimentary question but: Where do I find this info??
