Workshop to do rod bearing in sydney
Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and looking at purchasing an E92 M3 as a toy / weekender car. I'm trying to price up the cost of rod bearing replacement. Where would be the best place in Sydney to trust to do the rod bearing replacement. I can possibly do the throttle actuator myself however as I don't have any experience with the rod bearing, I'm happy to pay a workshop to do it properly. Originally I was looking at the Lexus ISF but the interior seems to date very quickly hence looking at the E92 M3. Any help would be great. Thanks. |

I cant tell if you are trying to double negative there or if its by accident.
The majority of owners, and as such sellers, have no clue about the rod bearings. |

Bromspec BMW 23 Orchard Rd, Brookvale NSW 2100. Alastair has a supercharged E92 M3 and had done dozens of these and has it down to a fine art. Also Stuart from BMR Autowerks in Auburn is highly experienced. Normally you will replace engine mounts and do a full service at the same time as its a good opportunity |
