need help with production numbers

At the end of the E36 and E46 model runs, I'd always find that someone posted the final production numbers of those runs. I've been reading here for weeks and I've yet to find the info if it has been posted here.

It would be worthwhile to know the number produced in each color, for each year. I think it would be a good resource for those of us who go shopping for a car and face the inevitable "L@@K!!RARE!!LQQK!!" ads.

Would anyone care to post those numbers, or at least point me towards the right way to get hold of them?
