Tips on getting an individual color
Hello,
I am working on putting in an order on my first M3! I have been trying to work with my dealership to get some individual options into the car. I just received word back from BMWNA that they did not approve the color I wanted, Valencia Orange. Do you guys have any tips on how to push the dealership to get this option approved for me? I appreciate any help. I know that there are E92's out there with this color on it, so it is obviously possible. Thanks |

I believed the Valencia orange is reserved for M6 go with Estoril blue if they let you order one.

Ya if BMWNA says NO then its pretty much a no. Unless a high Individual volume dealer like Steve Thomas BMW has any pull with them. I think your best bet is to contact them.

Also, do you guys know what is up with the black ZCP wheels? I know they are available on turner, but I'd like to get them from the factory. When I got denied for the valencia orange, I was also told the black wheels are "not available as a special order." However, I see that other people on the forum have orders in right now with the black wheels. Anyone know what the deal is with this?

The Black ZCP wheels are not available from the factory. They were available (in limited supply) on the Lime Rock Edition. Personally I had mine painted gloss black to match the trim around the mirrors, etc. Good luck! |

Well, I was just approved for Sakhir Orange on the M3. I just need to decide if I want to do it. I'm still not sure I like that color as much as valencia orange.
