The only good thing about this post is that you live in Hawaii

Pretty sure you meant days?

Depending on how much I drive, I would say on average ~5 days. When I first bought the car, I was filling up every 3 days because I was driving it everywhere.

I'm getting around 14-15 mpg which is a bit lower than I expected. I'm getting around 180 miles to the tank and I fill up when the needle reaches the 3/4 dot which is around 12.x gallons. I can't imagine what I'll be getting in the winter since mpg goes down around 3-4. I'll definitely be driving it less though so it should help.

This is true. But it is never as bad they say/think. Because of this, most locals don't bother anymore.

Just completed a 2-week, 4994-mile cross country tour and posted a 23.7 MPG average. Hit it hard once in a while but mostly highway cruising. What an amazing and comfortable car for a long ride!

17 is a bit low even for a n52 328 but when I had a e90 loaner for a week, I noticed it got 1-2 mpg worse than I did in my 335. Turbos work wonders...

True. If I nurse the gas pedal I can get around 24-25mpg. I hope there is a used M3 in my future...

whoa, that is actually an amazing number for averaging out the entire life of the car. The best long distance I've ever logged on my engine computer is 26 mpgs as well, driving 50 mph on a flat highway in 6th gear for like 20 miles...

Constantly on an open highway, I can log 24 mpgs, but during commuting times, I can't get anything above 19 even on the highway...

lol! good for you. Amazing how in this day and age, so many people can't be bothered to walk anything under 2 miles!

For a 2-mile commute, I wouldn't be driving my car at all, rather, I'll probably ride a bike!

initially, I was shocked by your numbers on your two long distance trips, then I noticed that you're tuned!

that's an asterisk in my book. That's electronic tomfoolery!
