Oh man, BMW-M-M, if only they were E93 seats I would be very seriously interested in them.

I'm curious - are you going to change out the rest of the fox red leather in the interior to make it match the performance seats better?

Yep, ALL the interior Fox Red will have to go, the "new" interior will be a combination of black Alcantara, black Novillo leather and still debating about CF inserts. Probably yes but IŽll leave such things for RDSports to decide. Also taking out the BMW Peformance logo on the head rests. In any event, the Fox Red interior has to go.

Don't think they'll work with the US passenger airbag sensor, though.

Well I guess we U.S. owners can just source U.S. E93 seat bottoms since they have the Euro seat bottoms. Right?

May be the case, but don't think so. They should be pretty much interchangable just like the BMW Performance seats. This only issue should only be that they are not DOT certified.

Maybe.

Keep in mind the two types seats are very different overall (E93 has integrated seatbelt, electronic headrest, etc). I'm not sure if the differences mean that the cushions, bolsters, and related hardware are also different or not. You could check using the part reference (sorry I don't have the URL, but GregW or someone else might be able to point you in the right direction).
