A forensic study: Jeremy @ OE Tuning Rocks

First off, let me start by saying this is not a company A vs company B thread, so please: NO BULLSHIT

.

I recently switched to Gintani's catless exhaust, so I asked Jeremy to take a look at my file. We did a few baselines, and the car was solid and consistent, but a bit rich. This was Jeremy's old Powerchip tune that I had been running for 10k miles with great success.

After a about an hour and numerous runs Jeremy was able to pick up 11hp peak, and almost 19hp in the midrange. To give you an idea this is how Gintani's dyno reads:

1) Stock e92 M3: 295-300 whp
2) Well modded 6 speed: 360-370 whp
3) Well modded DCT: 350-360 whp

Here's the chart:

The current set-up that I have is incredibly stout in the midrange. Dare I say it feels a bit like a C63

? If any SoCal guys would like to take a ride in it I would be more than happy to oblige.

What's "well modded" consist of? Full exhaust/hi-flow/no-cats (?), pulleys, air filter..?

To make those numbers you'll need filter, pulley, high flow cats or no cats, rear section, and a tune.
