Wow another s2000 pick up. This is my dream set up, very jealous! But for the meantime I'll just have to settle for my e93.

I've owned and S2k as well, Very fun car to drive. I would recommend a Supercharger for a little more of an interesting time and still reliable daily driver as well

^most definitely. I convinced the wife to accept that both the toys should have the garage while her car sits outside
Heck, even when i go somewhere i like to pick a window from where i can keep an eye on it.

I wanted to share some more pictures:
The previous owner took these This was immediately after completing the transaction. You can see part of the ZCP wheels on the previous owner's M3. Stop at Chick-fil-A for lunch and parking far far away At the start of the 1400 mile journey home I've never been to AZ before. Its a pretty unique landscape that reminds me of the Wile E. Coyote cartoons. Stopping for the night in New Mexico WTF is that giant bug?? Dawn in New Mexico Have to drive on route 66! Finally home and time to get the bugs off!

Great choice! Nothing like High RPM NA engines.
Keep them, both engines are engineering marvels. Congrats and enjoy it to the fullest! Same set up here plus a 991 C2S 7MT 2003 White AP1 S2K 2012 Frozen Silver Edition E92 M3 2014 Black 991 C2S 7MT (will be replaced at the end of the year for a 2016 991 GTS 7MT)

The F10 M5 is great car and probably the best overall car out there today if you need four doors but you can not hide weight regardless how much power you have, even though the F10 M5 does well in that department considering how big it is. It is car that takes triple digits at all times to enjoy it, you need a lot pavement to get the full potential, it is Autobahn machine. I have learned overtime and several cars later that I prefer to enjoy my driving at any speed at all times. I much prefer high rpm NA engines where I am more involved extracting the power, I want to drive not just ride. Turbo engines give you plenty of torque but they make drivers lazy and even more if you add automated transmissions. Not to say, how much better NA engines sound Once drive a 911 and especially the new 991 chasis, that's all you want to drive and it is car you can use daily for any ocassion - 15 months 21K miles, that's how addictive it is. 911s help you to be a better driver. I also appreciate the S2K and the E92 M3 much more now, they are two amazing drivers cars.

There's absolutely nothing like that feeling of driving a new car home on a long, multi-day road trip. I remember every single one of those experiences. Great idea to document it with pictures!
