What options should I get on my M3?

Hi all, I have got the order in for the 09 M3 sedan -- wont hit production for a good month from what they tell me so still time to change colors (where's the space gray

).

In terms of resale value, do you think that I have to order the Technology package? Are there any "must have" options that impact resale?

must = technology package
i'd not ditch premium, but it's not a "must"

i like my iPod, PDC, and heated seats a lot

you're buying the car and paying from your money, customize it for yourself and your own joy, not the next owner's.

in my 09 order e92, i'm ordering all options, including black extended,

the only ones i'm not getting are,

cold weather because i dont need it,
19's because i like the 18's better,
and sat radio.

I say if you are thinking about resale then go buy a used car. Buy the car the way you want it if you are buying new. I ordered mine with no options, and I can't wait. Speed cloth FTW.

well the sure winners are:

ZTP = Tech Package
ZPP = Premium Package
6FL = iPod/USB
494 = Heated Seats

assume that 90% of driving the car is done in normal daily driving...with lots of traffic at times. do you think the tech package is worth it in that scenario? yeah, i know that buying this car to go 10mph on a congested highway is an injustice.

I opted out of the Tech Package and added EDC a la carte.

The only option in the Tech Package that is of interest to me is Comfort Access. Not for $3,250 though.
I am buying the car and planning to keep it for a while. I am convinced that in 2 years from now, iPhone-type devices will have better GPS capabilities than a 2-year BMW Nav System. Therefore, I don't need the second hump. And I get an extra cup-holder in the center console ;-)

It's all about personal priorities though.
