Vibration when entering car
Did a quick search, and didn't see anything.
When I get in the car, before starting, there is a very subtle vibration in the steering wheel, seat and start button. No noises. I would say it is some kind of motor, but nothing is moving. Key is same from prior use so the car is not readjusting to new key. Anyone else experience? Any thoughts? I've had this since I bought the car in 2008 and just keep forgetting to ask. |

I know it's not the seats and mirrors, but your idea of the CD (navigation) spinning up might be a possibility; however, since it stops after about 4 seconds, I'm inclined to consider the fuel pump pressurizing the system prior to start up.
I do have the Comfort Access key, so the car is aware of the key's presence in my pocket. Thanks |

It's likely the fuel pump that is pressurizing the fuel line. It does that when you open the driver's door. Try opening the driver's door, wait for the sound, close it, and open it again and see if the noise happens again. If not, then it's the pump pressurizing the fuel system.
