What do u guys think? D2FORGED Concave...

What i love the most is that this wheel is actually done and these r actual production photos. Only thing is that its in its raw stage. Not yet cleared and whatever else they do. How great do they look? BTW, i actually saw them in person and they r absolutely sick. However, i am waiting for there mesh wheels which they should have very shortyly...

Here r som pics they posted on 6speed:

I don't know if I like them, the finish in its milled and brushed state doesn't look super spectacular like Barney would like

And what is up with the gaps between the spokes actually meeting the lip or the barrel anywhere with the face of the rim?

Well as i mentioned, these r still in the "raw" form. They still need to be finished. The gaps however between spokes and lip, well thats how all the 3pc concaved wheels r, till now. It was brought up before that they will b a pain to clean in those creases.

Yeah this is actually a "raw" finish, these wheels are going to be custom colormatched, in a two-tone scheme.

The wheels are 3pc so there has to be a small space to allow the center to sit inside the outer lip. These types of designs (concave) are ALOT harder to pull off on 3pc forged wheels, as its not as easy to shape material, and there are construction limitations as well.

Thanks for the constructive feedback!

Stef, it was nice to have you at the office on Wednesday. We'll get you those mesh images soon, so we can get to work on your set.

After almost a year, we are right back where we started!!

You were one of the first to really post about our wheels last year, and now your the first to post about our concave stuff. You get things started brother!

Edit: quick pic added, more to come!

As of now, we have this 5spoke, a mesh, and 10spoke thats a more sports/ luxury design.

We have quite a few new designs coming across our product line, so no split star 5spoke for right now.

We are so busy with our own line, that we really can't effectively offer any repair or refinishing services at this time.

Also the step lip is a request that we get every now and again, but the largest issue appears to be demand. We have not received enough requests from customers looking for step lip wheels at this higher price point (as opposed to JDM wheels, etc). In order to purchase the amount of rim parts required to offer step lip we would need a significant amount of pre-orders.

We are open to the idea, so long as we can guarantee the sales.

Thanks again for the input and for the kind words. We're in Plainview Long Island, you can feel free to set up an appointment to stop by and check out the wheels in person.

i dont hate em, dont love em. the spoke design is plain and boring id say.
if the spokes came out to the edge of the lips theyd look rediculous I think... someone needs to make wheels like that!
