Almost done wrapping my new (to me) E46 T2 car
It is actually Laguna Seca Blau, which is my least favorite blue, so I fixed it.
Had it out at Blackhawk Farms this weekend for my first race weekend in it this season. Car was rock solid (thanks Fall-Line) and I scored a 4th place finish in race #1, and a 2nd place finish in race #2. Good weekend overall. Off to Road America next weekend. |

Every time I see these wrapping installations they always look like train wrecks. I have no idea how they get all those winkles out and make them look like paint in the end.

Here she is almost finished. They need to do the mirrors and a few other bits, but you get the idea. This will probably just be for the rest of the season and then paint the entire car next year. I like the fact that it is kind of loud - Get outta my way! hahah

branch out .... ?? ... how ... since the e9xm3 gen they took away all the interesting colors.
i got a steal of a deal on my e90m3 - so no choice on color. Had 2 LSB e46m3s b4. One was LSB/LSB. Got a Mugello e36m3 ... so needless to say my JzBlack is my least fav color. Doesnt matter, ur still nuts not to use the LSB with some White and Red to make her POP. Now u just look like a Mazda GS clone. I would have done LSB with White wheels, White cage, Red belts/calipers, wing, splitter ... and white vinyl grfx. Couldnt miss me in the crowd Good Luck w ur boring black - lol Last edited by mastek; 05-17-2011 at 04:33 PM.. |

And that is the great thing about a wrap - next year it can look like a whole new car. |

What wheels are on the car in the picture? I have SSR's, but they weren't purchased at the same time so a couple are a little different. I'm thinking of buying all new wheels for next season and selling the SSR's. Great looking car BTW, if you don't mind, please post or PM what the vinyl cost you. I've been toying with that idea.

In the picture are OZ ultraleggera's. They are my rain setup. I have two sets of black HRE's P43's (i think) that see most of the track duty.
If you are interested, I will be selling a set of similar OZ's in gunmetal in almost perfect condition. The reason for selling is that they don't fit within the guidelines of the SCCA T2 class. I will shoot you a PM about the wrap. |
