I am thinking of getting rid of my matte black ones and getting gloss black. The Matte ones look good from far, but up close it makes the car look cheaper IMO.

I'll subscribe to this and give you some pics of mine when I can get a chance. My car is AW, but I have the black chrome kidney grills and side markers.
Not sure what was meant in an earlier post by "the edition looks just like chrome but dirty." That doesn't make any sense... It is hard to describe, but it has the shimmer and metallic reflection of chrome but it's black. I think it looks better than gloss black, which doesn't have a metallic reflection. If you understand my weird logic then good on you, haha...

Will have some next week, I currently only have the sides in and am doing a euro bumper conversion so I just left the stock chrome in until they are putting it back together...

Nasty weather here in VA has me stuck and I haven't been able to take some good shots focusing on the grills. Tomorrow I should be able to do it though once these storms/tornadoes pass :\

Personally I have matte black grilles on my car and I like them alot, especially on red color it looks really aggressive.

At first I was partial to black chrome edition and even painted at one point.
After seeing this post I cannot decide between black chrome v. IND carbon ....not a fan of matte black or gloss. |
