Impulse purchases: good and bad

Post some of your best and worst impulse buys:

Worst: Blu-Ray player in my room...I never watch DVDs in there

Best: a bunch of Burberry polos I randomly bought a few years ago, they still look/fit great and I wear them all the time

Yes it took my a year to sell my AR-15. I build them and I decided hell I'm going to go all out on this one, so I got the best of the best in terms of parts and built the most expensive AR money could buy... Yup who the fuck is going to spend $3500 on a AR-15 during a recession.

I know right. My AR is pretty basic. I was going to deck it out but then I had to quit my job. I think I might sell it. I don't think I've even put 200 round through it. It's pretty much brand new.

Too many bad ones to count but I bought my road bike sort of on a whim last year and I ride that constantly. I actually rode this morning with my local club, I love it.

I have impulse purchased motorcycles. Several times. That qualifies as both worst and best. Silvergray, what kind of AR and how much you want for it?

Yes guns are my worst and best purchases as well as cars.

I bought a HP printer for my office at home, used it once. Then when I needed to use it again a month later (Warranty expired) it doesn't fucking work... Most expensive print job ever for 5 pages of text.

Well I thought my worst would be my $660 Rebel XSi since I ended up not getting any time to use it when in school. I just used it again recently, and really want to get back into learning photography. It will get used eventually, I just felt sort of bad about it.

I don't make impulse buys any more unless it's on food or items under $15. I always weigh the pros and cons and research if necessary.
