Thanks guys. Rob - the split armrest came automatically. I'm pretty sure all of the US models have it. Naaa, not at all worried about issues with colored clothes. If my early experience is any indication, it won't be a problem at all.

Cool - another Platinum interior. The exterior almost looks silver. I thought about brilliant white too. YES! Front PDC retrofit is done except for one thing...
The coding. It turns out the control module that comes standard for your rear PDC is not capable of handling front PDC as well. There's a different module that we ordered for it which will be here this week. The install is done though - I'll post pics tonight. It looks, well... Euro. |

love, love, love the combo (I may be a little biased though ) and as long as you clean and condition the leather on a regular basis it will be fine.

Here are a few more shots Buddster in case you were interested. The seats are standard in Aus, as is the front and rear PDC, not sure about the US laws but it all seems strange to me http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...=270318&page=5 |

Update. As I mentioned the PDC is mostly done so I took some shots to show the front bumper. It turned out well and looks OEM, which I guess technically it is. When the coding gets done this week, I'll put up some shots of the I-Drive with it working. For anyone who cares, I included a shot of the AiB's. I think it shows how even the light distribution is between the two halos.
Even though it's been a week or so, you'll also notice the car looks slick and glossy. I did a full workup on the body and wheels which consisted of: Wash, Dry, Wax and seal the wheels, Clay the whole body, Wash again, Dry again, Wax and buff the exterior. It looks glossy and feels smooth and waxy - almost slick. I used Chemical Guys Diablo wheel gel, CG Clay, CG Luber, Pete's 53 Carnuba Wax and CG Wheel Guard. The interior is next. Gonna seal the trim etc... Phase II is almost complete as I got a GIAC tune from EAS. It's fast. Gas mileage is better too, strangely by a lot. In M Drive with Sport Plus etc... it's pretty ridiculous. Can't wait to get it to the track. |

Love it! I noticed that in EAS's post for the work they did to your car, they only mentioned 10mm spacers for the front. Did you install spacers in the rear as well? Or did the 295's take all the remaining room?

Did you actually record an increase from tank to tank right after the GIAC tune? Did you feel a big increase in power on the GIAC? Good stuff ! Hey, did you consider the front carbon fiber front air dam? Not the splitters, I think they look a bit funny on their own, but the front full length carbon spoiler on the front looks very nice... see attached picture of what I mean. |
