Taillight help

Hi guys, hoping someone can help. Couple weeks ago I removed the taillights. When I reinstalled I got a "right two stage brake light malfunction" warning. Lights were working fine though. Drove it for awhile and then I also got a left brake light malfunction. Still no issues with the lights though. I'm assuming this happened because I didn't disconnect the battery when I removed the lights. Anyone know how to get rid of the warnings?

Your right two stage bulb is your brake force/rear fog light. It only illuminates if you apply brisk braking or you activate your rear fog lights. Same thing happen to my friends car when we upgraded to LCI lights. The bulb in question is either not connected all the way or blown. They are located in the inner tail light housing. Hope this helps.

I did, nothing happened. Checked all the bulbs too, but I'll pull them again to double check. It seems odd that bulbs would go out at the same time I disconnected them but stranger things have happened.

Nothing changed with code clearing or battery disconnect unfortunately.

Would you please do some pics ( bulb, wiring in tail light, popped up CEL warning read out, so we all could help you much better?
Usually when I have an issue I check my code and my Carly shows me exactly the culprit.
As I said, just load up some pics, that way it's much easier for all of us.
