Sad to be going through all this but to get a 2013 motor is awesome. I would be like a new car minus the trans.

RenoE92M3, I know this is a very old post, however, I have a 2012 that I bought brand new and the rod bearings in the #2/6 spun. One of the bearings is more narrow than the rod surface and the other bearing that sits next to it is wider than the rod surface. I noticed what you're showing in your photos is similar. Was this part of the problem? Or is this normal to have a bearing that is not as wide as the rod and rod cap surface? BTW, I also live in the Reno area and I'm looking for some answers. Is there anyone you trust in Reno to help evaluate my motor. I'm removing it myself and I'm looking for some direction.
