Looking for HPDE Event in Northeast 6/28-29

Hi everyone - I bought a 2008 E92 over the winter and am excited to take it out on the track this season. I have been looking for an event somewhere in the northeast for the weekend of June 28th but haven't found anything other than an already full event at Summit Point (Jefferson). Just wanted to throw it out there to see if anyone knew of any HPDE track events that weekend somewhere in the Northeast (I'm based in Philly). I've looked on Motorsportreg and several track websites, but haven't found anything yet.
Thanks!

Depends upon how far you want to drive. Tarheel is on VIR that weekend. Trackdaze is on NJMP Lightning the weekend before. NJ BMWCCA is on SP Main a month later (very good group & event).

Thanks for the recommendations - I might check out VIR. 28/29 is the only weekend in June I have free. Definitely looking at some other events already for later in the summer/fall.

Come down to COTA with us that weekend. It is only a little further than the NE.

This weekend is SCCA's first/trial run of the track, hoping for some feedback and videos shortly thereafter.

I'll be there on the 21st/22nd with NASA.

See you there. My wife is running in Novice, so I will be in Intermediate 1 instead of advanced to let the car rest a little between sessions.

[White M3 Sedan]

The course runs its first SCCA race this weekend, this will be the first time the new track will be used "for real", so there will be videos and feedback coming on line in the near future, hopefully next week.

Sounds great. I will bring my AW 135i. I wish my wife was into our hobby too. Once i tried to show her my hot laps on a video, and she fell a sleep

I paid for a day so she could at least try it out and see why I enjoy it!

My wife will be driving it. You'll have to arm wrestle her for it.

I just tried to register for this event, and to my disappointment the advanced group is sold out. So is intermidiate2. Surprisingly novice and int.1 are not sold out at this point, but usually SCDA sells out novace groups first. Not sure i want to be in the intermidiate1 I might register for int1 and ask Ian to move me to advanced at some point.

First Thompson videos starting popping up on youtube. I'm predicting the entrance to the oval (1:00 in the vid) will confuse the heck out of people but otherwise it looks promising. Always good to have a new track choice!
