had a chance to listen to new M3 with m performance exhaust a few months back in person,
i just cannot justify its sound being "good"....wanted to say to ppl who were drooling over that exhaust..."guys...stop lying, the 335i exhaust sounds better than that.."

Its funny when i go over to the f80 side, and listen to exhuast clips. I simply do not understand how people can say the F80 sounds good.

And I agree with the exhaust comments lol. However, the new non-res AWE exhaust actually is decent. Closest to a 335.

I must be in the minority of people on here who don't see a big improvement between pre-LCI and LCI taillights. I actually like the white reverse light line on the pre-LCI lights.

F80 wins all. (And I'm a E92 M owner currently)It's hard to picture the back of the NEW m3 to get all the aggressiveness..

Beautiful rides. As great as the F8X is... can't say it's the 110% clear choice over the E9X M3 (exterior aesthetics).

Nope, not alone. I'm with ya. I don't like the looks of the LCI tails at all. That little slit in the middle for the reverse lights is just stupid looking IMHO...

The look of the hard plastic, isn't where the improvements are. It's more about the design of the lights when turned out.

Still not sure I see a huge improvement. I don't think it's better or worse, just slightly different and probably something nobody else would even notice.

IMO, the rear is not the F80's best angle. With some painted reflectors and if the can on the exhaust were painted black, I might give the edge to the F80. On the whole, though, I really like the way the F80 M3 looks.
