Saw my first 991 carrera s on the street couple nights ago. Seal gray color with red interior. We just hung together for about half hour on the freeway. Nice looking car.

Congrats! That is one amazing car with supercar performance at relatively tame hp level. But then again no power is like Porsche power. Enjoy it (when it comes)!

Congrats OP, its a beautiful car!
I personally could never justify the price for "only" 400hp. However thats just me, the car is a lot more than just straight line speed, and we all have our own preferences. Enjoy it! |

When you say "only" 400 horsepower you should take into account that those 400hp can run neck and neck with a 550hp m5.

i would say the 991s should outrun the m5 to 60 then get passed mid track and lose by less than half second. porsche has their launch control dialed in. the last gen turbo was as fast as a veyron to 60.

I put more significance in 0-100 or 0-150. Its a better indicator of power. 0-60 is mostly based on initial traction. A lot of cars are strong from 0-60 but run out of steam after that.
