I have got LUX H8 v3s on mine. Not cheap but I'm very happy with them. Much brighter than the ones (from ebay) I had before.

Love my GP Thunders. Ok they don't light the outer rings so well but the 8500s have a great look and are cheap and easy to fit. Massive improvement on stock.

went from gp thunders to lux 3.0s. makes gp's look yellowish/dim. lux 3.0s make the AEs look like E92 335 LCI AEs. clean!

All the LED's I've ever seen are dim in daylight.

yeah I'm not sure they are anywhere near LCI bright - you can see those bad boys a mile off but they are certainly noticably brighter that bulbs. But they are expensive.....and I just hated the yellow colour, so for me was worth it.
Interestingly though a knowledgable car colleague (who had never seen my car before) saw me drive into work and thought my M was spanking new - based soley on the Angel Eyes. Make of that what you will....

Then you havent seen the LUX Angel eyes in person. Take a look at our pictures because they are all taken in the daytime, most of them in full sunlight. The LUX are 3-4 times brighter then the cheep LED's on the market.

That's the main reason I liked the Lux so much. They're super white and brighter than stock in sunlight, so the best of both worlds.
Most cheap replacements (including GPTs, as I also trialed those for a while) are actually dimmer than the stock yellow bulbs. |
