Hey guys so I placed my order on an E92 coupe. Trading in the E46 and will take out the LM-R's.
The specs are:
Front 19x8.5 32mm
Rear 19x9.5 25mm
Tires:
245/35/19
275/30/19
What size spaces do you guys recommend?

18mm front & 15mm rear will give you a very aggressive stance. (near flush with the outer fenders)

Thanks, so if I want to play it safe. 15mm up front and 12mm in the rear would be a nice setup?

Actually, the spacer sizes I posted are a little more conservative than most would recommend. It looks close to flush but it's not borderline.

If you really want the wheels to be absolutely flush with the outer fender (for a super aggressive front and rear appearance)...you would use 20mm front and 18mm rear.

That setup would likely induce rubbing if lowered on H&R or RD Sport springs, especially if you have passengers in the car while cornering. (assuming a 245/35 & 275/30 tire setup)

By the way...

I would upgrade to a 275/35/19 tire on the rear wheels when your current 275/30's wear out. This will give you more sidewall height offering a more comfortable ride, while also getting you very close to the stock rolling diameter. The diameter of the 275/30's are a little too small for the E92 M.

I'm from E46M3 as well.
But when I searched BBS wheels, E46M3 and E9X M3 shares exact same size wheels/offset.

I know rear tires need to be replaced but it seems like BBS's recommended offsets are exactly same between E46 and E9X M3s.

That's because it will fit on the E9X M3 but it will not be flush.

I think isugoo was referring to Tire Rack's offset recommendations, which have historically been very conservative in regards to wheel offset values. They typically shy away from the most aggressive sizes available, to avoid customer complaints about rubbing issues.

The reality is, BBS does offer some pretty aggressive wheel sizes and offsets if you find the right dealer. These wheels will of course be special order in most cases, but they can be sourced with some effort (and patience) on the part of the buyer.

Yeah- I checked back-to-back on E46M3 and E9XM3 BBS wheels from Tirerack and it's pretty much exact same wheels/part#.

I didn't go with the EDC option so I'm definitely going with KW V3's. So 18mm front and 15mm rear will be ok with no rubbing.

18mm front & 12mm rear if you are going with KW coilovers instead of just springs...

Thanks Lemans, last question I promise. When its time for replacing the rear is 285/35/19 cool? And will keep the size in front the same 245/35/19

285/35/19 tire is really too tall, especially if you are going to drop the car with coliovers. You could rub...

275/35/19 or 285/30/19 are better choices for your setup.

I say 20mm front, 10mm rear.

I have 10" +20 in the rear and I feel if I were to go any more aggressive I couldn't run many tire sizes.

rub in with support spacer 12 mm
