This guy's gotta be kidding. No way should you be waiting for him to show up from wherever he is going. Call the general manager if he doesn't come up with a solution. The Sales Manager is not the top dog, and you can go over him.

Well, he said he would leave the paperwork for his finance guy so I assume I would just deal with them.

Well, it is now the night before, hopefully, and I am excited.
Everything is taken care of now on my end. All documents signed and aspecial reserved space in the garage. All I am waiting for is the car to arrive tomorrow and for the dealer to kick the car out properly. My CA is in SC, so I am hooked up with the Finance manger for tomorrow. I have his number, name and when he will be coming in.
Hopefully, the truck arrives early and they can start on it promptly. I will be tearing up the phone lines.

Now I need to pick out what to wear to work tomorrow. Getting the car as soon as it is ready from work.

Best of luck! I remember when I went to pick up my E46, the dumbasses in service had left it RAISED on a lift then went home for the night, and no one in the dealer was "authorized" to lower it so I had to wait until the next day. Really killed me... in fact, I still get fired up thinking about it!

Anyway, there will definitely need to be a Chicago meetup in the not too distant future, and your attendance is mandatory. Look at it as an opportunity to knock off a healthy chunk of those break-in miles.
