Dension 500 / iCon Drive / xCarLink Video Interfaces

Anyone had any experience with one of the following?
I basically want to be able to play videos through my iPhone 4S on the CCC system.

Dension Gateway 500 + Audio Video Router
Seems the oldest one around and a bit messy installation with so many different parts

Dension iCon Drive
Fairly new, but requires connection to the MOST system? Do I have it?
Seen demos where it shows album art and ability to play video it would seem.
A bit vague but seems quite good.

xCarLink
Cheapest option, not sure about quality and the control interface.
And a bit messy where it hijacks the entire iDrive screen once in that mode.
Unsure what's going on behind, will the bluetooth still come through and sat etc.
The above 2 options seem to work as factory and use the TV section only.

dvbLOGIC / usbLINK
Been searching high and low to get video in. And also found this german one, but super vague on their site on price and whether it will work with DVB-T2 signal cause it comes with DVB tuner as well as RCA inputs. Seems very slick though.

That dension icon drive looks pretty good... Wonder what the cost is and if anyone else has used it.

-Looks like it plugs into the video input so the car thinks its just playing a DVD so video in motion would need to be enabled... Wonder what the cost of that is
-is the interface gonna lag when finding songs and stuff?
-does it limit the number of artist and albums?

I've got an older aftermarket interface that came on my car when I bought it... Don't even know the brand... But it has the limitations I am asking about.

If the dension icon works pretty well and price of the unit and video in motion is reasonable... This would be a good alternative to doing a CIC conversion.

I bet there are more reviews about this on the standard e90 forums as there was only one year with the ccc unit in the M3, but many more years with the ccc in the regular 3 series

I don't know the answers to any of the questions
I want to know myself.

But I read into the installation manual for the Dension iCon drive it and it mentions connecting it to fibre optic MOST system. Didn't know that the car had it unless it had the Premium / Individual Hifi option, or does the car run in fibre optic regardless.

Really confused on the installation of it all. Been looking for ages and couldn't find much information on it at all.
