What else would you call it if the RS4 has been doing this since 2005. So you don't agree with it, that's fine.

I would call it "raising the bar."

A car that has recently "re-invented" a segment? The GT-R. Supercar, 5 digits, bam.

True, true, GTR does raise the bar. But the RS4 I agree has contributed as well. Not as much as the GTR, but it did set the standard for a while IMO.

Duh.

EDIT: To help you understand -- saying "Most reviewers prefer the RS4's interior" would be a fact assuming that it's true (which I do). Saying "The RS4's interior is more refined" is an opinion.
You are technicaly right but I can not stand when people proclaim the opposite is true out of nowhere. If you want to go that way in color and taste there are no facts only preferences. But when most people agree that the RS4 has a more refined interior it becomes as close to a fact as it can be since you can't put a number on it. You're right but I still have my point.

I'm not sure what your first sentence means.

As for "most people" agreeing, again, if 6/10 people or 9/10 people have a particular preference, it's still just an opinion. Given that we have no real, statistically significant data on which interior is preferred, your last statement ("most people agree") is just as much hot air as saying "Most people think BMW is a better driver's car than Audi." Making up statistics (which is what you are doing) is a time-honored tradition. The greater point is, who cares what "most people" think when you're picking an interior or car? Get what you like. To bring it back to the topic, if you wish to wait for a car with no published specifications, design goals or release dates -- only speculation -- go ahead.

"Golly, I hear it will be 450 hp"

"I heard 500!"

"Excelsior!"

I hope the new engine on the RS4 is a TTV8.

That will make up for its awful AWD powertrain loss......!

Two advantages for the RS5:

Styling

Audi interiors

I don't seeing it being as composed as a M3. But we will see.
