Help with color schemes please?

All-

I'm hoping some of you experts can provide some assistance. My 2010 M is scheduled to build first week of December and is currently ordered with Space Gray/Fox Red. Although I think it's sharp, it's is too similar to my 335 Sparkling Graphite/FR, so I'm thinking of switching it up. Problem is, I'm in Iraq and can't see what they look like up close and personal (websites don't seem to do them justice).

Since I want to stick with FR interior, my options other than SG are Alpine White or Silverstone (not really a big fan of the black...looks/gets dirty too easily). Can anyone shoot me there thoughts? It seems the lighter the color, the more the CF roof stands out. And since I live on an island w/salt water all around me, I don't need a color that looks like crap the moment a little dirt gets on it, but that shines after a good wash.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think the order you have right now is perfect. AW w/ Fox Red is next but too many people have it.

Already a couple AW/FR combos on the island so I think what you got now works better. Never saw a SS/FR car in person but it doesn't sound like its as good a combination as SG/FR.

808E90 and myself have the AW/FR. Spyderco has AW/black. I know there's at least 3 or 4 more AW but not sure of the interior.

I'm loving the AW/FR, SG/FR is also a very close second...Still debating on it... I'm in Baghdad, were you at??

Still deciding...

The only reason I'm even considering the AW and having my dilemma about the SG, is because my 335 was SG/FR...and the kid in me can't seem to let that go, so wanting something different.

I was in Balad, now got shuffled to beautiful...wait for it...freakin Ali al Salem, the armpit of the world.

Where in Baghdad are you? What do? I was at Perfume Palace in 06 (Slayer).

I would imagine that a red interior would get old after a while.

The black/red is nice and black will hide more dirt than white does. I know it sounds backwards but I had a black car followed by two white ones. The white cars have been much more of a challenge to keep looking clean. It's weird.

Another option is red on red. You don't see it very often and it could work well. LMB/FR is a combo that some love and some hate. I'm not a huge fan but it might be to your liking.

I have SSII/FR.....its amazing. I was actually going to get SG/FR but once I saw SSII/FR...I was immediately sold.

Thanks again

You know, I don't fully disagree, but the girlies seem to like it, so I usually get right back on track when I stray. But some folks do seem to love it (b/c it's bold) while others hate it.

Quality
That does sound like a bizzaro world thing; interesting...

MR/FR is definitely bold, but even if I wanted to, I'd have HPD all over me, and with how much things cost with an M, I don't need extra court costs, et al.

MJC
I saw some posts that had pics of SSII/FR, and I must say, I think you make a compelling arguement. I'm still not sure because it didn't completely jump out at me, but I definitely caught myself doing some double-takes...

I can't believe this is proving to be such a hard decision. Think I have until mid Nov to make up my mind.

You know, I think I dig the Coral more than the Fox...very DOPE! From the looks of your signature block, looks like you have the vert?

Silverstone has a blue, sometimes green tint. I don't think Fox Red looks good with it.

I love my SG and fox, but if I had to get a different combo I think SS with fox is CLASS.

Can't beat the SG/FR combo. It's kind of hard to see the interior in these pics, but man, do I love it!

There's a crap ton of 1er guys doing it. They call it the Superman combo but I despise ole Supes so I call it the Spiderman combo. it's not too bad but definitely not "me." I like LMB/Silver

Agreed, just chuckin' out ideas. I think there was someone in one of the color threads with MR/FR if you want to get an idea.
