Now if one can mount the '07 mirrors, get power to them and then install a switch to control them are other questions I can't help you with, but a 2011 E93 mirrors won't fold automatically so I think it would be super hard to get yours to do so with a Rube Goldberg rig. |

There is actually a 2007 M3. I thought the E46 M3 stopped at MY2006 and the E9X M3 came out for MY2008.

Why do you want folding mirrors? I have the push button type and never use them.

In London, residential parking space is a premium and its mainly street parking. This makes the roads very narrow as cars can be parked either side. On my road, if there is an oncoming vehicle almost always one of us would have to find an inlet somehwere and pull in to allow the other guy through. This means that you are driving on the line all the time. My 51 (2001) Honda Civic is spotless except for the wing mirrors that are battered and bruised in every way possible.
Folding mirrors are a blessing!!! If they were only key activated or automatic. |
