2010 Alarm options?

Any way to get an OEM alarm retrofitted on a 2010 model? People tell me that they have loads of issues with aftermarket so I'm a bit hesitant to get one until I'm fully sure.

Anything above a 2009 lost pre-wiring for the alarm. Yet another way to cut costs.

BMW has to work on this *facepalm* well bright side, I searched a little more on the alarms and I found out that apparently the M3's built after 03/09 arn't pre-wired but the cars built around 01/09 and 02/09 are... gonna go check my build date at the stealerships tmr, wish me luck!

I have a 2008 with an aftermarket Clifford HD 2-way responder. I have the ability to control the top up/down with the alarm remote and haven't had any issues yet, including remote start.

You can retro it. There was a thread with the info about it. Not fun, but do-able.
