Nav screen turns red and not working

The nav screen turned red and later was completely off when I started my car today. Does anybody know what this is and how to fix it?

Is your car still under warranty? If yes then bring it to your local dealer and find out what is wrong.

Was your car out in the sun? Same thing happened to mine last summer. Parked the car in the garage for a few hours and everything went back to normal.

Could either be power to the screen or connector to the screen not properly mated. There are 2 torx screws at the top of the screen housing, easy to undo those, slide the screen forward and check the wire harness connection is firmly pushed home. I can attach a PDF if you need but it's really simple, just make sure and put some painters tape on the trim to protect it before pulling the screen forward

Red screen means that the screen is receiving power but the video input is not working. I would undo the two screws and make sure that the 4 pin video cable is connected securely. If it is, check the cable behind the CIC unit. It might be that the navigation unit itself is not working properly, although the CIC's are much more reliable than the CCC units.
