I will too - even my Wife drives a 6MT 535ixT station wagon - people here think we are nuts. we have had one AT car, a 1994 325i and were sorry we didnt get the MT.

True, SC, "gotta have it" will be another factor for some. But still, I can't see it being more than 50% - for the M3.

What will perhaps be as interesting is - will BMW replace Steptronic with DCT at some point in the 3 series and 5 series. Or, even if they only add it as a third option (which is pretty much set now I think, according to prevailing rumor), how well will it sell vs. Steptronic and MT. Specifically, will it steal sales mainly from the steptronic, or will it pull from the already razon thin margins of the the manual buying crowd? I will watch that with interest, and hope we get some real numbers.

Go wagons! I really wish BMW had a 335i or 535i touring. I'd buy either one right now if they were available. For that matter, I'd pop for an M3 touring if they brought that over (its gonna exist according to some folks), but I know there's no chance in bubba it will come stateside.
