iPod Option

I have a 08 E90 DCT M3 without the iPod option. Any idea if I can add back the iPod interface?

I believe you can, but its gonna cost you some coin to do it through BMW. Inside your armrest do you have the usb/audio in jacks? If so you may just need the y-cable. If not, your dealer would have to do the install for the OEM system.

The last time I talked with BMW (late Nov or so) they told me they would NOT be releasing 6FL kits for retro install. Probably the best bet is the unit EAS sells.

I'd go with EAS. The factory adapter from the dealer is JUNK.

Agreed... We have the right part for you... I'm sending over a PM (to OP) so we can discuss details. If anybody else is interested, feel free to shoot me over a PM

I also have a 2008 e90 M3. I had a local dealer install the OEM Ipod interface last November. It's not the most user friendly, but it's better than using the aux port since it now integrates into my idrive system. I think it cost around $350 for the component plus install.
