Bad differential???
Hi,
I have a grinding noise when I turn at low speeds which I suspect is from the differential. It gets better as the car gets hotter from driving. Guesss when the differential oil getting hotter. How much trouble do you guess I am in? Should I be looking at a new differential or do a quick differential oil change. Mileage: 14,000km E93 2008 M3 |

Yup this is a known issue and any authorized dealership can switch your car to a differential oil with an additive which should eliminate the noise.
