DCT users - what percent of time do you use manual shifting vs "automatic"?
I wonder because I live in the city and hard to use the paddles and manual shifter. But wonder what you all do? Thanks.

like 99% S mode. The D mode no matter what speed, just either shifts too late or too early, even if I put it in D mode, i unconsciously end up flapping the paddle myself.

I utilize manual shifting with my DCT at least 95% of the time. The only time I do not is during very heavy stop-and-go traffic!

S mode 99% of the time. I've only had it in D mode once in stop and go on I-5 in L.A. (worst, most painful freeway). I didn't like D mode, so put it back in S mode.

With the stock exhaust, i'm almost always in auto mode... unless I want to pass people and I just click the paddles.
When I had the Vanguard exhaust, I was always in manual mode... I just loved hearing that exhaust revved up all the time |
