Just bought my E90 yesterday, same color/6spd/18k miles. Just walked into the garage to look...a few very small nicks only.

My car has this same issue, behind the front wheels and the back. Being black makes it stand out more. I'm thinking of installing a clear bra on there to prevent more damage.

Thanks guys. I assume that location of use is a main driver - mid-west vs south will produce higher rash. I like the idea of Dr. Colorchip assuming that dealer smiles, nods and says "yup, it's a used car".

Used dr. colorchip on a different car today and I'm not completely satisfied. It's a clean way to seal the chip but not what I expected especially after watching their instructional videos plus others.

I wouldn't buy again.
